ZID Theater is proud that the European project CARAVAN NEXT Feed the future: Art Moving Cities has been accepted within the European committee’s programme Creative Europe, for the period 2015-2018.
CARAVAN NEXT is a large-scale European (EU) collaborative project where theatre events throughout Europe stimulate individuals and communities to reflect on European challenges in the third millennium. 13 partners who operate in the European theatre industry and 30 associated partners from various countries in and outside Europe will interact and create theatre and art with local citizens, communities and organisations.
With a focus on “Social Community Theatre”, the aim is to develop and exchange knowledge and skills. All partners are pioneers in their home country with a high artistic profile, a strong local presence and expertise in the field of languages of performance. The Netherlands will be represented by ZID Theatre.
Every partner is responsible for the organisation of various events. ZID Theater will organise two festivals in 2016: in March and December in Amsterdam. The festivals will consist of presentations, workshops, performances and meetings. Audience and participants will have a unique chance to work with international experts in community art. The meeting is intended for all those who wish to know more about community art and community theatre, especially at international level.
