The European project ‘Remix Comix’ is part of the official programme of Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture. The project aims to connect comic strip and other art forms, such as visual arts, music and theatre, in public space.
The project is supported by the European Commission through the Creative Europe programme and is realised in collaboration with six organisations from 4 countries (Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Serbia). The entire project will take 2 years (July 2022 – July 2024).
The results of the project (a project publication, a film and 5 site-specific comics) are produced within 5 Artists In Residence (AIR) programs. In addition, two conferences will be organized to present the project and discuss comic correlation with invisible heritage, public space and social inclusion.
